About the METRONET Project
METRONET is the Western Australian Government's landmark public transport initiative, delivering new rail lines, upgraded stations, and associated infrastructure across Perth. The project involves extensive construction activity including tunnelling, excavation, heavy machinery, and vibration-intensive works.
Why METRONET Properties Need Dilapidation Reports
Properties within the construction influence zone are at risk of vibration damage, settlement, and cracking. A pre-construction dilapidation report documents the current condition of your property before works begin, giving you the evidence needed to make a claim if damage occurs.
In many cases, the project contractors or government agencies are required to arrange dilapidation reports for affected properties. However, you can also commission your own independent report for complete peace of mind.
